Geocache Description:

replacement for Aliens Exist?(GCZGPY) on top of Battlesbury Hill

As it flew fast and low over the south of the town. I could just make out the unusual shape. It made no noise. Hurriedly I got my camera free and aimed. The line of flight was too fast to follow. So I held the camera well in front of it and pressed the trigger as it entered the viewfinder. It shook me rigid when I saw what came out of it all.”

Cradle Hill has been the source of UFO sightings for years, the extract above comes from "The Warminster Mystery".

Earlier this week, a group of three lights were seen in the sky over Warminster...moving over Arn Hill, Cradle Hill, and on to Battlesbury Hill they disapeared.

Rumour has it that the lights were UFO's ... and that in fact they crash landed somewhere in the area. The co-ordinates given are the estimated landing site - find it and you could get your hands on a real flying saucer..?

As with all these sightings they are of course, only rumours.....

PS:
all should be aware that nearby the area is marked as a danger area on OS maps, although its open to the public so please heed the following:

"WARNING" the area is near to a military Firing Range, DO NOT go past any Range Marker posts when the Range Flags (Red Fags) are Flying, and dont pick up anything (other than Tupperware) as the area is a Military Training Area where Troops use "Blank Ammunition"
and dont dig anywhere....
