This walk starts at the Golden Ball Inn, Boxworth (Adnams &
Greene King Real Ales) and takes you through Lolworth, Childerley
and Knapwell, crossing the Greenwich Meridian twice on the way and
taking in part of the Pathfinder Long Distance Walk.
The route can be muddy in wet weather, but on a fine day there
are lovely views across the fields. The full walk is not really
suitable for pushchairs or buggies, instead I would suggest parking
in Knapwell and walking out along the Pathfinder route at the
southern end of the village (see waypoint below).
With a slight diversion you could also take in the Childerley
Haul (Cambs)by gazooks
[GCT6TN].
This
map shows the full route, we used
Ordnance Survey Explorer 225; Huntingdon & St Ives, which shows
the route very clearly.
