Geocache Description:

Flat, easy walk around a Yorkshire Water reservoir.

Ardsley reservoir has always been a water supply source, although it looks as though it should have been a mill dam.
The walk is easy, flat, well surfaced and suitable for push/wheel chairs.
The container is a screw top turtle, in a camo bag containing all the ususal bits and bobs.
At the furthest corner look out for moss covered concrete block with the inscription 'OLD PIT SHAFT - CLOSED OCTOBER 1974'.
Please take care retrieving/replacing the cache as the area can be very busy with walkers/strollers/joggers.
