After hitting the Dismal Swamp Canal Trail today, we decided to see if there were any other spots that needed a cache and found this one.
Its always great to go caching in other areas so you can borrow ideas from other cachers...We picked this one up while in NC not too long ago...this hide is one a much smaller scale but along the same lines as one we so enjoyed finding.
As always PLEASE use common sense when seeking this cache. I would not intentionally place a cache that would put you at risk of falling into the canal. That being said you do not need to cross the wire dividing the rest area from the canal and woods to find this cache. PLEASE stay on the rest area/road side of the wire.
You are advised not to fish here but you will need to "fish" this one from it's hole.
