A new parking lot developed for a carry-on boat landing and a platform to view wildlife on the bay. The platform can also be used for Winter fishing walk-on access.
This parking lot was developed in cooperation with the State of Wisconsin, St. Croix County, Star Prairie Township, Star Prairie Land Trust and Star Prairie Fish & Game. It has a dock platform installed for wildlife watching and Spring Panfish fishing. Many Eagles and assorted waterfowl can be seen much of the year. A wood duck house was recently added too.
Notice that Snowmobiles and 4 Wheelers are not allowed access to Cedar Lake from here.
