Geocache Description:

Park at N 41.01.102 and W 079.36.454. There is a large utility box to the right of the parking space and one private property sign, please respect both by staying to the left of the sign.

You may wonder why a Christmas Cache is being posted on Easter weekend. This cache was a Christmas gift from our daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter. We found it from coordinates in a Christmas card, but some unfortunate events prevented posting it until now.

The Rumbaugh Cemetery is on a bluff high above the Allegheny River, it is accessible from Seybertown Road about 4.7 miles from the East Brady Bridge. There is a private property sign at one corner of the parking area, we spoke with the owner and he is OK with people accessing the cemetery via the trail that leads from the back of the parking space. Please, stay to the left of the sign.

You will follow a path from the back end of this parking area up a very steep embankment to the cemetery above. Once at the cemetery, pay your respects to those at rest there. There are some interesting stones dating back to 1814. Watch your step on the way down, there may be loose rocks under the leaves.

Since the bulldozing of the cache site the cache is now a very large green prescription bottle, donated by my nephew who had a kidney transplant, please say a prayer for it's continued success.
