Easy cache. If tide is right you can drive very close to it. Allow two hours either side of high tide.
This is a very beautiful place and popular place for the beach tour buses. Warm and inviting on good days, and loud and pounding in less clement weather. As with any caches near the sea, one must always use wisdom and exercise caution. Having said that this cache will be easy to find even in inclement weather.
There are two ways to get to this cache, either by driving up the 90 mile beach or through the Te Paki stream. A four wheel drive is reccomended if coming via Te Paki as you need to travel through the stream itself.
If you come up the beach remember the best time is either two hours either side of high tide.
As this is a very poular spot you will need to watch out for muggles.
After you have found the cache you might like to go sand-dune surfing.
When placed this cache had the usual logging paraphenalia, Shampoo/conditioner,moisteriser,soap and 5c coin.
