This tree has the distinction of being the oldest living Sugar
Maple tree in all of Canada. With an age of 500+ years old it is
now part tree, part lamppost with the amount of concrete that has
been used in order to preserve it.
The tree stands on land donated by the Comfort family who have
owned the land since 1816. This very majestic tree is well worth
the quick stop to visit. Cache is slightly smaller than a 35 mm
film canister.
