Just one more cache before you leave the Old Dominion.....Or perhaps one more as you leave The Old North State.
I've always enjoyed a drive down Rt 17 to North Carolina but since they've made it 4 lanes it's even nicer. Beaconbabe and I spent the morning on the "old road" bike trail and decided take a drive a little further south. We found a few places that just needed a cache. This one was my favorite.
Cache is located at a gravel pull off just north of the VA/NC state line, along the Dismal Swamp Canal. There's a turn around near by if you don't want to leave the Old Dominion or travel a little further south to the NC visitors center. It's a really nice rest area.

Cache is a Lock-n-Lock container cammoed to blend well in it's environment.
