One road leads to the cache location. This road is home to 4 other caches, find them all. I spend alot of time here during hunting season. If you geocache during hunting season, be sure to wear orange. Unfortunately, there are some litterbugs polluting up this beautiful area. Report any violators to the law. I've noticed some indicators of poaching over the years. Please do not approach any of these individuals. Record as much information as possible and report it to the law enforcement agency.
This cache container can hold some small trade items. It may or may not have a geopen/geopencil. This location is a good vantage point to view any game that may be in the area. The best time to observe any game is at dawn and dusk. I have witnessed several bait areas nearby throughout the year. The only problem with baiting on NC Game Lands is - it’s illegal. Please be on the look-out for such activity. I’m not saying it’s an everyday occurrence, I just want you to be aware it’s happening.
