This container is normally used for keeping your matches dry. It is slightly longer yet more slender than the typical 35mm film canister that is often used for micros. Originally it was bright orange. I have painted it flat camouflage green.
I was disappointed when I found that the first cache I ever found had been archived. Up on doing a little research I discovered that squirrels must really hate geocaching. According to the log they had totally demolished the container.
My family and I enjoy geocaching very much and it all started with this one cache, which was also the very first cache to be placed in this town. I am placing this cache in memory of the cache that started a new passion for my family and myself.
Bring your own pen to sign the log. It is not far from good parking. The terrain is mostly flat until you get close to the cache, then there is a drop. The area is well groomed. This is probably the nicest city park in SW Missouri. Have a picnic and bring your kids. There is a large playground and lot of things for them to do. Have fun and good luck!
