Geocache Description:

Near Dayton and McMinnville. From SR-221, west onto Alderman Rd, then turn south on Webfoot Rd and drive about half mile. You'll see the ruins on the west side of the road.

Parking may be difficult to find.
** WARNING!! Be cautious of poison oak (wash your pants and shoes when you get home). ** I repeat: Poison Oak is abundant! Careful with kids. **

Ebenezer Chapel was built in 1857 (precisely 150 years before this cache was placed). It was rebuilt in 1926. By the 1960s it had been abandoned, as it has been ever since. For many years there have been frequent sightings of wandering spirits in and around this chapel. Its listed as one of Oregon's most haunted places. This cache would be best hunted alone on a cold October night with an oil lantern to light your way.
