Geocache Description:

This is a relatively simple cemetery hide. The cache is a small cammoed lock n lock container which contains a log book, pencil, and FTF prize. Also suitable for small trade items or TB's.

We have driven past this cemetery many times and have wanted to place a cache here. When we drove in, we saw this family marker and just knew we had to do a cache in honor of them.

Please remember this is a cemetery hide, so follow the rules of the cemetery. This is an active cemetery, so keep in mind that not all visitors to a cemetery are there to cache.

The listed coordinates will not take you to the actual cache location. They will take you to a family monument which contains the information you will need to locate the cache. You WILL need to look at ALL sides of the monument to get the correct information.

For the North coordinates, find the number of children Ezra and Angeline had. Add this number in the form .0XX to the following coordinates: N41 46.(248). Two of the children died at the same age. Aseph in 1851, and Miner in 1846.

For the West coordinates, subtract their age in months, in the form .0XX, from the following W084 05.(803).

There is a beautiful poem on the monument - please take the time to read it when you are there. It is a great reminder of the kind of people who forged this area!
