Geocache Description:

Located near the Hacienda Trail in Almaden Quicksilver County Park. A moderate hike from the Hacienda Entrance in the town of New Almaden. The terrain difficulty could be more depending on where you enter the park. As usual, watch out for critters, and poison oak. There is poison oak within 10 feet of the cache, but you don't have to get near it to retrieve the cache.

This is a 2x3 inch pill bottle from the big Virus Alpha cache in Sierra Azul Open Space. This cache was previously known as Virus Alpha 5 (GCP705) and was about 4 miles west of this location. I had to move it and this looked like a good spot for it. The old log remains, but I think the first one to find it here under its new Waypoint ID gets an FTF. The hiding place is not far off the trail. This part of Hacienda Trail is off-limits to bikes and doesn't seem to be as popular as other trails. Please tread lightly and try to cover your path when you leave. There is some room for very small items in the cache, but there is only a log for now. It would be a good idea to bring a pen or pencil.
