Geocache Description:

Geckos are small to moderately large lizards belonging to the family Gekkonidae which are found in warm climates throughout the world. (ref: Wikipedia)

There are very few people in your life who will be your true soul mate.... well, I am lucky mine is my sister.
So this cache is dedicated to her, one of Maui's amazing cachers.... Northern Gecko !

Be that as it may... here is a bit more information about Geckos. (We didn't see one on Ulua beach but great shells though down by the beaches near the big hotels)

Geckos are unique among lizards in their vocalizations, making chirping sounds in social interactions with other geckos.
Geckos are unusual in other respects as well. Most geckos have no eyelids and instead have a transparent membrane which they lick to clean. (yuck !)
Many species have specialized toe pads that enable them to climb smooth vertical surfaces and even cross indoor ceilings with ease.

This cache will be maintained by Northern Gecko who lives in Maui or me when I get back to visit !
