Water is the most essential element for human beings to survive. This cache is all about water, on your way you will encounter various ways of using the water of a small valley.
It’s a walk of some 4 km alltogether, mainly through the forest. Just a piece of advice up front: Keep outside of the areas with “bad dogs”, stay on the paths, except when getting very close to the WPs or the final.
But first of all, you can park your car at N 49°36.870’ E 006°15.320’. Move from here to N 49°36.933’ E 006°15.185’ and turn left. When you reach N 49°37.068’ E 006°14.762’, you have to go down the hill and follow the fence towards WP1:
WP1: N 49°37.040’ E 006°14.700’
Please note the number on the door: B.. – you should use the 2 digits as number A.
So much about drinking water, this valley holds a number of springs where the water is used as drinking water for the surrounding communities. When moving on further, you will see the efforts that have been made by our predecessors of the past centuries to utilize the water of this valley as an energy provider.
WP2: N 49°36.(70*A+37)’ E 006°15.0(50+A)’
You will find there a small film container. Follow the instructions, you will reach soon again the “civilization” and now need to follow the streets until you arrive at WP3.
This way you will have seen several times the same water that you crossed some time ago on a bridge, in the way it has been utilized by the inhabitants of this area in the 19th and 20th century. And in parallel the main water stream is following its way further down …
Please note now the number of the house a bit further down from WP3 as number B and find your way to the final cache at:

PS: Please cover the final cache well again when placing it back. From there you can easily reach your car by following the pedestrian ways along the main streets.
Deutsche Version
Wasser ist das wesentlichste Element für Menschen, um zu überleben. Dieser Cache dreht sich allgemein um Wasser, auf eurem Weg werdet ihr verschiedene Arten begegnen, wie Wasser in einem kleinen Tal genutzt wird.
Es ist eine Wanderung von etwa 4 km insgesamt, hauptsächlich durch den Wald. Nur ein kleiner Hinweis vorab: Haltet euch aus den Gebieten mit “bösen Hunden” heraus, bleibt auf den Wegen, ausser wenn ihr recht nahe an den WPs oder dem Final dranseit.
Aber erst einmal könnt ihr euer Auto bei N 49°36.870’ E 006°15.320’ parken. Von hier aus begebt euch zu N 49°36.933’ E 006°15.185’ und biegt links ab. Wenn ihr N 49°37.068’ E 006°14.762’ erreicht, müsst ihr den Hang hinuntergehen, dann den Zaun entlang und auf WP1 zu:
WP1: N 49°37.040’ E 006°14.700’
Bitte notiert die Zahl auf der Tür: B.. – benutzt die 2 Ziffern als Nummer A.
Soweit zum Trinkwasser, dieses Tal zählt mehrere Quellen, wo das Wasser als Trinkwasser für die umliegenden Gemeinden gefasst wurde. Wenn ihr weitergeht, werdet ihr die Anstrengungen sehen, die unsere Vorgänger aus den vergangenen Jahrhunderten gemacht haben, um das Wasser dieses Tals als Energielieferant zu nutzen.
WP2: N 49°36.(70*A+37)’ E 006°15.0(50+A)’
Dort findet ihr eine kleine Filmdose. Folgt den Anweisungen und erreicht so bald wieder die “Zivilisation”. Jetzt müsst ihr den Strassen folgen, bis ihr bei WP3 ankommt.
So werdet ihr mehrmals dasgleiche Wasser wiedergesehen haben, das ihr vor einiger Zeit auf einer Brücke überquert habt, so wie es von den Anwohnern dieses Gebiets im 19. und 20. Jahrhundert nutzbar gemacht wurde. Und parallel dazu verfolgt der Hauptwasserlauf seinen Weg nach unten …
Notiert jetzt die Nummer des Hauses etwas weiter unten von WP3 als Nummer B and findet den Weg zum final cache bei:

PS: Bitte den final Cache wieder gut bedecken, wenn ihr ihn zurücklegt. Von dort aus könnt ihr euer Auto leicht über die Fussgängerwege neben den Hauptstrassen erreichen.
