Do a little research before chasing this one first, please. A map of the area should show you where your going and the best way in and out.
This is a nice little country drive for your enjoyment and entertainment. But, before you go, you might do some research about this area. The name is a big hint on good maps of the area.
Take your video equipment as you are apt to see lots of critters willing to pose for you. We have seen Deer, Elk and even a Cougar near this cache. If you have time, read the sign and take the loop.
You are looking for a plastic ammo can. It contains a logbook and a bunch of goodies.
This cache is between Ukiah and LaGrande, at about 4100 feet, out in the Blues. You will need to take an off highway style rig to be safe.
If you hit this one from the wrong way, you might be able to spot the cache, but not be able to do anything about it. If you hit it from one way, you will not be able to see the cache, but you will be able to get it.
Research is the trick.
I did not think it was needed but I have to add this warning:
IF you come in from the wrong way,
DO NOT TRY TO CIRCUMVENT THE OBSTACLE BEFORE YOU!

Please have plenty of food and fuel on board as the 25 plus miles for not doing this one right just might pinch your fuel a touch.
