Geocache Description:

Cty. Rd. 21 to 4th line at Squirell Creek Park, across the small bridge to Pleasant Point Rd.Walk in to Pleasant Point during the “off season” as there is NO road in the winter season.

This series of caches is located along the Otonabee River between Peterborough - Lansdowne Street Lock 19 and Rice Lake. They can all be accessed without using the lock system. Each cache location has car parking available nearby and a landing easily accessible by self propelled watercraft or smaller motor driven craft. They may not all be as friendly to larger motor driven craft. A nice drive by car, planned ahead of time to visit the whole series, will leave Peterborough’s Lansdowne St. at one end and return you in a large loop to the other end of Lansdowne St. Walk in to Pleasant Point during the “off season” as there is NO road in the winter season. This is a straight forward cache The Public landing (canoe/kayak launch) on the southwest bank is frequented by fishermen so stealth may be required. Pleasant Point Road can be very rough along the top of a farmer’s field so you may prefer the 1/2 km walk.

This cache has been placed by a Central Ontario Geocacher!
