White plastic jar. Flat easy walk from parking. Just south of Highway 36 is the Susan river. It is the geographic boundary between the Cascade mountains the stretch up through Oregon, and the Sierra Nevada mountains to the south, which contain Lake Tahoe and Mt. Whitney, the tallest mountain in the lower 48 states.
