This is the first of a 4 part series of Fido, the lost dog
mystery. It is not necessary to do the series in order but it makes
the story FUN!.
One day Ben was walking his dog Fido through the city when all
of a sudden Fido saw a squirrel and lost all presence of mind. Fido
took off with a sudden jerk and started chasing a squirrel as fast
as he could go. Finally, the squirrel ran up a tree and hid and
only then did Fido realize that he was lost and needed to find Ben
again.
But he had run so far and fast that he didn't know where to look.
He waited there for awhile for Ben to show up but as time passed it
was getting dark and he was getting hungry so Fido took off towards
tall bright city lights.
Ben searched frantically for Fido, called out his name but he
never showed up. He placed an ad in the Lost & Found in the
paper, posted signs, offered a reward and called the "Geocaching
Detectives". "Don't cry" they said, we'll find him.
So, you grabbed your Geocaching Detective Tools and started
your search to track down Fido...
