Geocache Description:

This spot houses a beautiful, 3-sectioned laser etched granite monument dedicated to the California Least Tern. You can read all about the endangered bird: it's migratory habits, breeding patterns, it's road to extinction and the progress that has been made since it was added to the Federal Endangered Species list. Enjoy!

Cache is a small tin camo'ed pretty good. Look close and you won't have to leave the path.

Legal parking is about .3 south...or ride your bike from Coronado or Imperial Beach. It's a great ride and there are caches galore to be found.
