Geocache Description:

The cache is situated near some steep drop offs so while I would encourage bringing the kids to this spot you should get them to hold back from the final search.

Simmos Beach Reserve (‘the Reserve’) is a 33 hectare Reserve located in the suburb of Macquarie Fields. The Reserve is named after Simmonds, a past resident, who mined sand from the river banks in the 1950’s for a number of years.

There are great walking and riding trails all through the area as well as boarded and concrete paths through the bush and down to the beach.There are tables, BBQ's and toilets in the reserve and makes an excellent spot for a family day out.
