Geocache Description:

Meet and Greet get together at the NC Fairgrounds beginning at 6 p.m. Plenty of parking available.

Calling all cachers to an informal "Meet and Greet".
Thanks to NCGO who has graciously allowed us to host this event at the R.L. Harrill Center at the NC Fairgrounds home of GW5. Come and get a sneak peek at where the fun filled festivities of GeoWoodstock5 will be held.

We will have a box meal available (optional) to purchase for $5.00 each.
The box meal will consist of three (3) food items and one (1) drink. The menu will consist of: burgers (beef or veggie), hot dogs, chips, and a soda or water. Condiments will include lettuce, tomatoes, relish, onions, ketchup and mustard. Additional drinks can be purchased for $1 each with the purchase of a box meal.

In order to have enough food to fill your order, please indicate what food items - from the above menu - you are interested in purchasing when you log your "will attend".


****The registration area will be open during the Friday night event from 6 pm until 8pm.****

*** When the sun sets, we will be showing fellow cacher Nomadnora's (Nora Donaghy) Award winning Best Documentary (Amateur), geocaching documentary "Adventures in Geocaching" and the 5 minute trailer See Link . So stick around, you really don't want to miss this epic about our favorite sport! Come socialize and have a great evening under the stars. ***

The early birds will get a quick look at some of the great deals and offerings. One of the best deals is NO SHIPPING FEES. So come Shop, Eat, and Socialize.

****The Geocoin Club will be sponsoring a stop on the 2007 Geocoin Poker Challenge tour.***
What started as a fun activity in 2006 has evolved into an ongoing Geocoin Poker tour. The last stop was at GeocoinFest 2007 in Temecula, CA where the winner walked away with over 270 Geocoins for their 3 Geocoin buy-in.
The GW5 stop will again feature a set of 210 custom un-trackable "chip Geocoins" which will be used at the final table in lieu of clay chips (yep - final table is played with bright & shiny Geocoins!). The Winner takes these ALL home with them (or if they are very generous, donates a few) and the top 1, 2, and 3 finisher take home a share of the 120 Geocoin pot.
