Gazebo Crossing Traditional Cache
flyingpita: I have gone by the gazebo a few times now and since school let out it has become a teen hangout. I even caught them smoking illegal substances once. So in the interest of keeping safe I'm going to disable this cache. It is too easy to muggle a cache that is larger then a micro here, it appears. And since I'm no evil micro hider I'll leave it for someone else to devise a hide that will stand the test of time and teens. Thanks to all who did hunt for this cache while it was active!

Cache is located in one of Flagler Beach's jewels, The Betty Steflik Memorial Preserve. Its easily accessible by wheelchair or foot.
I discovered this beautiful spot to sit and view the natural beauty of this area while hunting for a nearby cache. In fact this park has a few geocaches now and should be fun to explore.
Some information on the Preserve:
The Betty Steflik Memorial Preserve's 217 acres offer the visitor a unique view of the salt marsh and coastal scrub communities. Walk the trails through the coastal scrub and stroll the boardwalk over the salt marsh for a close-up view of the plants and animals of these marine communities in their natural habitat. Enjoy bird watching, fish from the pier, launch your boat from the Moody Boat Launch for fun in the Intracoastal Waterway, or treat yourself to a picnic.
Did you know that the Preserve was once an airport? Charles Lindbergh once landed here.
