Geocache Description:

The cache is hidden in the beautiful valley between St Keverne and Porthoustock.

Park in St Keverne square N50 03.019 W005 05.262. Walk up through the churchyard, noticing the memorial to Michael Josef and Thomas Flamank on the wall at the foot of the church steps. You will have passed their statue on your way in to the village.
In 2003 St Keverne church was voted the best church in the country to visit. It is well worth taking a moment to look inside and to see the East window which commemorates the loss of the ship 'Mohegan' in 1898, when 106 passengers and crew lost their lives when the ship foundered on the Manacle rocks. The gravestone stands in the churchyard. As you walk through the churchyard you will see the wonderful views across to Falmouth.
Walk down through the fields and into the valley which is always beautiful, but especially in spring with the primroses filling the banks with colour.
When you reach the bridge over the stream you are very near to the cache.
Take care up the bank and try not to damage the vegetation. There is no need to pull any moss off the trees.
