This cache is a relocation of the Original It Lays/Plays in Peoria cache. It Original cache became missing in action in mid-July and I really wanted to keep the cache location active. The original cache was Peoria's first cache. This cache is located just off of one of Peoria's most scenic drives. The best place to park for and excellent view is at N40° 44.826' W089° 34.129'. Another entry point does exist, but I will leave that a challenge if you care to pursue it. Good luck hunting!
The cache is a 30cal ammo can located just a few feet off of the trail. I would give this site a very friendly rating on a geocaching weed scale and family oriented location. The cache site is easy to get to and has no weeds around it. I would recommend this to families that would like to take children along. Please be aware that you will need to hike approx 1/2 mile to get to this site.
