Geocache Description:

The Department of Environmental Resources in Pomona, New York has assigned Permit #005 to this cache.

Walking the loop to find both stages of JJ's Jaunt will be about five miles with approximately 500 feet of elevation gain.

Please be aware that Rattlesnakes (a State Endangered species)and Copperheads could be encountered in this area. Both snakes are venomous and will defend themselves if they feel threatened. Please do not poke hands into holes or crevices while searching for this cache without first making quite certain that the hiding place is unoccupied.A flashlight is always useful.
