Geocache Description:

Sealed road with a short section of dirt. Access by car during dry season but may need 4x4 December to March. If you dont mind walking a couple of hundred metres then it should be accessable all year round.

The cache is located on Cox Peninsular near the crash site of a B24 Liberator Bomber which crashed 17 January 1945. "Milady" was returning to Darwin after a training bombing run. All 6 US airmen from the 380th Bomb Group died in the crash.

Take the time to view the wreckage and read the tributes. Don't forget to drive the extra few miles to Mandorah and view Darwin from the opposite side of the harbour.

My second cache with lots of goodies.
