G.O. John and Carol's 2000th Commemorative Cache Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

Serevanth: I had intended to replace this cache after giving it time to be forgotten by the muggle, but after the Muggling of my nearby cache "I hope there will be ducks" I have decided to let it go. I even had the new container's special camo all planned out and ready to put together, sigh such is life.

G.O. John and Carol's 2000th Commemorative Cache

I am placing this cache in commemoration of my GeoMentors,
G.O. John and Carol reaching their 2000th find, and also as a thank you for introducing me to this wonderful new addiction.

I thought it it only fitting since they gave me my start into the Geocaching adventure, that I place the first waypoint for this multi-cache at the location where our greatest adventure during their last visit began. We had reservations for dinner on the Spirit of Washington, but one of our November wind storms saw too it that the drive ended up taking us nearly 4 hours. The power was knocked out in most of Renton that night, but there was enough lights working to give us a good view of the train as it pulled away, just before we finally got there. The good folks on the dinner train did have mercy on us however and allowed us to reschedule our reservation at no charge, against their own policy.

This is a simple 2 stage multi-cache, I am not going to make you tour the town or memorize the mile markers on 405 like we did during our adventure. At waypoint 1 you are looking for the coordinates for the final which is an ammo can. Feel free to use the tool provided to make use of your phone a friend life line, you need 2 to find this cache. The final is not far away but I would suggest moving your vehicle to parking across the street once you have the coordinates. I am in no way shape or form telling you to go play in the street so don't do it, its not there.

Congratulations to:

We (Carol of G.O. John and Carol and Lost Linda) arrived here in Washington today and this was one of the first things on our agenda. I spotted stage one very quickly much to the chagrin of Serevanth who was watching me and hoping to get a good laugh out of it, but hey after 2000 finds I should have learned something!! For stage two I let "Lost Linda" take over to give her a little practice! Thank you Serevanth for placing this cache in our honor. We are so proud of our protege!!
