Beto Buffalo 2fer Traditional Cache

larry739: Per Glen Soldan, aka Rattlin Crew, Kansas Reviewer: "I get complaints about your roadside hides"

This is probably one of the geocaches I have put out that has generated complaints by the four or five people who spend considerable time on the mogeo forum complaining to Glen about me.

Although this series has given people a little break from the monotony of the drive down I-35 it is time to call it a day. I am sure one of the complainers will put out a regular size cache container in its place real soon. If not maybe I will someday. In the meantime, maybe people will just drive down I35 instead of geocaching down it for awhile. I am sure it will be a great relief for their non-geocaching partners not to have to stop for another smiley and finally get to dinner with the relatives on time.

Geocache Description:

Small cache along I 35 in a parking lot area near a neat statue of a buffalo by the Wyatt Earp Inn. Lots of Kansas fun here. This is actually a 2 for 1 as there is a nearby bonus cache. Find both and get two finds!!!! This seems to be a popular spot so watch out for muggles.

Part of the micro spew along I35. Still too small for a pen or pencil so bring one if you want to log this cache. Almost a drive up. The cache was replaced recently by GN and BB but placed in a spot nearby. BB says in her log that it was placed 50 ft west. GN however said in a private email that it was placed under a similar sized rock as the original cache on the other side of the driveway, which is not west. They were being cute and calling it a 937 replacement. This is a well deserved ribbing because I once went looking for one of GN's new micro caches and when I could not find it in the spot where my GPS was giving me GZ I replaced it with a pill bottle and logged it as a find. Ever since then all my "friends" in the GC communitity have been calling this doing a 739. I think GN and BB were just being cryptic is calling it a 937. Anyway, I have restored the original cache in its original location doing an un-739 and that means that we have two caches hidden here not one. So the second cache hidden under the other same sized rock is now designated as a Bonus Cache and anyone finding it can log the Beto Buffalo a second time!!! Two logs for one stop for anyone who finds both!!! The trick is you have to sign each log. The second cache may be missing according to Grumpster who could not find it and left that note. He sounded kind of Grumpy.
