A nice little stroll along the river Wharfe near the lovely village
of Burley in Wharfedale.
This is our first cache so we have kept it nice and simple, We hope
you enjoy it. The stroll can be made into a circular walk by
parking at N53'54.827 W1'44.869 and walking through the village to
the footpath just after The Original Malt Shovel Pub. This footpath
takes you down to the river bank and past the cache. Once you have
found the cache continue on the path and you will end up at
Greenholme Mills, from here you can walk back to your car by taking
the footpath under the bypass at N53'54.925 W1'44.727. If you feel
like a longer stroll instead of crossing under the bypass take the
road to the left past the mobile phone mast. At the end of this
road there is a footpath through the woods, if you follow this path
then you it will lead you past the Burley in Wharfedale Stepping
Stones and eventual bring you out right at the other end of the
Village. NB - GCVE45 is down here if you feel like a challenge! The
cache is a small tupperware type box and contains the usual set of
goodies.
