I replaced this cache again and in it is a FTF geocaching coin and a variety of other things, forgot to put in a pencil so BYO.
This is a quick grab and go, but please take a minute and read the sign about the Straits of Juan De Fuca. You can see Vancover Island across the straits from here if it isn't cloudy. The container is a camoflagued rectanglar6X2" snap and lock. It has a variety of small things and a new gold $1 coin for the FTF. It also has logbook, pencil and sharpener. I have place Silver Walker geocoin in there also. Juan de Fuca (born 1536 as Ioannis Phokas (John Focas) in Kefalonia, Greece; died 1602 in Zákynthos, Greece, often reported as Apostolos Valerianos), was a Greek captain employed by Spain to sail northward from Mexico and look for a northern passage from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean. His ancestors had fled Constantinople about half a century before his birth.
In 1592, his exploration took him into the body of water, the Strait of Juan de Fuca (in 1787 an English explorer rediscovered the strait and in 1788 it was named after Juan de Fuca), now marking part of the border between Canada and the United States.
Had to replace the container it is now a heart shaped tin.
Just replaced it again with a camo plastic container 6" X 2". I had to move it a bit away from the original spot as it didn't fit there anymore..
