Geocache Description:

This Cache is placed in McCormick Park in Gig Harbor; there are several caches along these trails.

My son placed this cache with his grandparents "Harborhouse."

These hiking trails are on Swede Hill near Highway 16 in between Rosedale St. and Burnham Drive. I believe that some of this area is still considered old-growth forest. This park gets its name from the creek that runs through it. There are parking spaces at several locations along the road.

**These trails have a lot of switchbacks and it is easy to get turned around. The cache is right next to the trail, there is no bushwacking required!!

When my son wanted to show me the cache, my coordinates were about 100 ft. off. I have since updated the coordinates...Thanks to Ruck!..more people seem to be finding it now. But, because of the heavy tree cover your signal may still be a bit jumpy.
