Geocache Description:

Llangattock Cave Entrances: Ogof Daren y Cilau

A series of caches on the Llangattock escarpment located near some of the major cave system entrances.

This cache is located near Darren Cilau (Rock of Refuge), the limestone cliffs formed by quarrying last century on the Llangattock Mountain.

Ogof Daren y Cilau entrance is located at N51 49.836 W003 09.282 and is makes up the central section of the Mynydd Llangattwg Cave System with an estimated 28km of passage.

The system connects to the Pwll Y Cwm resurgence, 3km to the south in the Clydach Gorge.
