This cache is located on Mynydd Llangattwg near Llangattock Swallet. Mynydd Llangattwg is covered with many dolines and sinks indicating the large and extensive cave systems below.

Llangattock Swallet, located at N51 49.889 W003 10.350, is one of many sinks for the the Mynydd Llangattwg Cave System. Water sinks here in wet weather and is next seen in the Daren Cilau system, where is follows an underground course to emerge at Pwll y Cwm over 3.7km away.

Mynydd Llangattwg is a glorious location on a good day with excellent panoramic views. It is well worth the walk.

2. Caves – Caving is not a dangerous sport if carried out by trained and responsible cavers following recognised safety procedures. However, to the uninitiated caves can be dangerous places. You are strongly advised NOT to enter the caves without the proper instruction in the techniques and equipment necessary.
3. The weather here can be very changeable and you need to be prepared if it changes. It's not a nice place to be in foul weather.
