The cache is NOT at the posted coordinates, but is the
recommended parking location for this adventure.
This area is part of the St. Lawrence Parks trails which also
includes the Upper Canada Bird Sanctuary down the road. It's a nice
place to visit year round. There are cross-country skiing trails,
snowmobile trails, hiking trails and a sugar shack which is in
operation in the spring. And there always seems to be wildlife
around everytime we go. We even saw an owl at the time of the cache
placement!
The hiking and cross-country ski trails are maintained only
sporadically but they are in use enough by locals that other than
the occasional fallen tree, the paths should be fairly easy to
follow. Rubber boots are recommended in the wet seasons.
You can get the cache location by solving the following:
desk sets, watches, sapphire, pearls, crystal, platinum,
crystal, watches, emerald, china, watches, silverware, platinum,
jade;
leather, steel, ruby, wood, leather, lace, cotton, bronze, gold,
cotton, tin, paper, ivory, pearl
Note: despite our best efforts and patience, we could only get a
10m accuracy reading when placing the cache.
