Located close to a very interesting railway bridge at Moy, this is an easy cache 'n' dash.
Constructed in 1887, Moy Viaduct is the last remaining timber bridge on a main railway line in Scotland. For a number of years, the structure had been suffering from severe fungal decay. In 2003 it was sympathetically strengthened and repaired by the installation of a new structure within the existing framework of the original bridge and the treatment of the timbers to prevent further fungal decay.
