Geocache Description:

Solomon was a favourite horse belonging to Squire Johnson of Temple Belwood Hall. The horse died after an accident out hunting, so the Squire erected an obelisk in Solomon’s memory at the spot he died saying that he was such a noble beast he was to be called Sir Solomon from then onwards. The local pub then took the horse’s name and has been called the Sir Solomon ever since.
