The above coordinates are NOT for the location of the cache, but are for the parking place at Belton Picnic Area off the A161 south of Belton. This is a good place to start the circular walk. The actual co-ordinates are shown in my log, dated Mon 16th November 2015.
This is the final cache that can be found when doing the circular walk. It has been relisted as a stand alone cache as part of the seried has had to be archived.
Bumbling Around Belton is designed to be done as a circular walk taking approximately half a day and covering six miles.
In dry weather it would be possible to go round on a sturdy bike, but I would not attempt this if the ground were wet as it would be too muddy in places.
Walking boots/strong shoes are advised, also trousers rather than shorts due to nettles at some locations.
The order in which to attempt the caches for the circular walk are as follows:
1. The Old Brickworks
2. Bracon View
3. Sir Solomon
4. The Hole to hell
6. The Demolished Windmill
7. The Bridge
8. Bonus Cache
Watch out for dog walking muggles as all the paths and tracks are regularly used. Good luck!
