Geocache Description:

This cache commemorates the life and achievements of William Farrer, scientist and wheat breeder, who developed many varieties of wheat specifically adapted for Australian conditions.

Sadly the achievements of many notable men and women in our history are now unknown to many Australians. William James Farrer was once remembered on an Australian banknote, and is still remembered in the suburb of Farrer and a number of other places and buildings. Through his dedication in his field of wheat breeding and experimentation, he brought great benefits to Australian agriculture and to the economy in the early twentieth century. He was responsible for the development of many new varieties of wheat that matured earlier and gave better yields in Australian conditions.

This cache requires you to do a small amount of research to answer questions to determine the actual GZ. The cache is not at the above coordinates. It is located at 35deg 2A.BCD, 149deg 06.EFG.
