Ormhilleren friluftsområde er på 150 dekar og ligger ved Rongesundet.

Området er romslig med stor, barnevennlig badefjære og fine svaberg. Viken inn til badefjæren har fortøyningsbolter. Det er godt fiske fra land, langs svabergene eller i strømmen under broen. Området har en parkeringsplass for 25 biler ved Øygardsvegen. Fra parkeringsplassen er det god gangvei (500 m) til badefjæren, som er tilrettelagt med skjellsand. På området er det informasjonstavle. Området er også egnet for telting. De lave klippene i friluftsområdet er egnet for buldring (klatring på steiner og klipper uten tau, i lav høyde).

The Ormhilleren outdoor recreation area covers 150 decares and is situated near Rongesundet sound.

The area is spacious, with a large bathing beach that is suitable for children and smooth rock formations along the shore. The cove beyond the beach is furnished with mooring bolts.  There are many good fishing spots along the rock formations and along the stream beneath the bridge. The area has a car park, next to the Øygardsvegen road, with space for 25 cars. From the car park, there is a good 500 m footpath to the bathing beach, which has been prepared with shell sand. There is an information sign in the area. The area is also suitable for camping. The low ridges in the area are suitable for easy rock climbing (without the need for climbing gear).
