UPDATE: Thanks to a local Eagle Scout, Seth Svob, and a parishioner from St. Rita's, Ted Golembiewski, the cemetery has been refreshed. See this link. The appearance of the cemetery has changed a lot since the picture posted here!
Another Update: THANKS Leeny_C for sending this info from the Postal History Museum and the Vail Preservation Society. Here's what Leeny_C was told: "This cemetery may contain the graves of children, cowboys, and early Vail Railroad workers. According to the Director of the Vail Preservation Society, 'It was a community cemetery. Some of the folks buried there were railroad workers, some were other local residents, a couple of cowboys struck by lightning, a little girl who probably died of influenza c1920, several infants. As near as I can determine the last burial was in the early 1940s.'" We have been unable to learn any more about the workers or why the Children's graves have no names on them.

If you have any more info on this location could you please send it and I'll add it to the page.
