Greatland Reviewer: Hello:

This cache page has been archived due to the lack of response to one or more prior Reviewer Note(s) about issue(s) with the cache. If the owner would like to have the cache unarchived, please contact me through my profile as soon as possible before another cache gets placed nearby.

Geocache Description:

This camo micro is located a few steps from where you'll park, but it's not as easy as you think - even though it's in plain sight. Pause to savor the scenery first, though, at this little roadside pullover spot. On the day I placed this, it was windy with intermittent light rain, but, hey, even a little rain in Hawaii is better than a lot of days back home, right? Right!

You'll need a 4WD vehicle, or high-clearance vehicle, if the road is dry. If it's wet, 4WD only, and use your judgement whether to go at all.

I've read a fair amount of early Hawaiian history, and enough to know that "meha" is "lonely" and that "mehameha" is "very lonely," hence Kamehameha I is the "(very) lonely one," and that feeling is quite palpable in this area. Mo'okini Heiau is nearby and has a certain feeling to it, as well as Kamehameha's birthplace. Show the proper reverence in these special places. While searching for this cache, have fun!

NOTE: The container is attached to something with something, so when you spot it, PLEASE remove with care, so as not to break "the connection." Mahalo.
