A walk along a new flat tarmac path to the cache which is sited just off the path [;)].

In this cache you will find half the coordinates to the cache - Estuary II (GC129CQ), so why not stay on the path a little longer and pick this 2nd cache too [:)]??

This 70 hectare site is a former municipal tip, with Cydcoed-funding. There is an ongoing reclamation project to create a conservation area and enable access for the community. Cydcoed is a Forestry Commission Wales project funded by the European Union and the Welsh Assembly Government. Different parts of the vast 70 hectare site were used as a rubbish dump for decades – from the 1950s right up to the 1990s.
They are establishing a woodland with access for the public with a network of paths. They are planting 10,000 trees, including native trees like oak and birch, planting gorse, hawthorn and blackthorn. In certain areas they are planting thorn to stop people encroaching.
This is an important site for wading birds, prime habitat for lapwings. There are skylark and winter snipe and also short-eared owl.
The project is in its early stages with the paths done and 1000 trees planted so far.
Please keep dogs under control and stay on the footpaths
