Speers park cache Traditional Cache

Cache is located in speers park and is replacing the old cache which was too close to the pavilion areas. The park is located off I-70 exit 39 and from there follow the signs to the park.
The cords for parking will put you in front of a gate. From there follow the ATV trail till you need to get off. There are tree stands in the area so be carefull and wear orange during hunting season!!! Most of the trail is covered in mud part of the year and you will have to cross over 2 very small streams. Near the end of the trail there is an area that has lots of old metal drums and sharp rusty objects, please stay out of this area as not to get something stuck in your foot or get cut on rusty metal. You will have to bush wack for the last 300 ft or so to the cache. Cache is in a large ammo can, and has lots of room for trades. While in the area why not visit the lower speers shops, or go on to granny's rock or one of the other great caches in the area.
