A Lord of the Rings Fans' cache:
The world is changed
I feel it in the water
I feel it in the earth
I smell it in the air
Much that once was .... is lost
For none now live who remember it.
History became legend
Legend became myth
And for a long time the cache passed out of all knowledge until,
when chance came it ensnared a new geocacher.
The cache came to the creature Gollum who
took his own, his love, his precious
deep into the tunnels of the Misty Mountains.
And in the gloom of Gollum's cave, it waited a long time.
But the cache perceived, it's time had come and abandoned Gollum.
Some things that should not have been forgotten, were lost.
Equiped with a good torch, some high watertight boots or a second dry pair of shoes, old clothes, pair of gloves and with a companion on your side, the entrance to Gollum's cave easily found, walk through (+30cm) deep cold clear water following the main tunnel until his end (+-50-70m). Do not enter too far in the tunnel on your right side if you don't want to disturb the "Watcher",a huge, tentacled beast living in the deep underground, and guardian of the west tunnel of Gollum's cave, to rise from its blue lake and attack you with all its fury.
Following the main tunnel, on your left side is a big hole with slippy walls: the tomb of an Balrog. But silence is required. Are you sure Balrog is definitively dead? Don't even try to find Balrog's bones, the walls are slippy and in 2500 years your bones will be found instead. No chance!
At the end of this tunnel you will see another tunnel leading upwards, following this one to a small cave at the end. Just at the entrance of this cave you will find above your head a filmcanister in a fissure with the final coords. The precious is hidden outside the mine under some stones.
One last thing:
Please don't destroy the builted walls, the precious itself is hidden in the bottom at a corner. Your greed will be your disaster, because if you ever more deeply dig, you provoke a terrible power, a creature from shade, more powerfully and more terriblly than any living person to remember itself can will catch you and I will be forced to close this cache to preserve this site.
