Geocache Description:

This cache is very accessible and easy to find.

In May of 1911, my mother and her family passed very close by the location of this cache while on an extended trip. It was some 86 years later that I moved to the area and some time after that when I realized the connection to the location. I feel that it is appropriate that I place my first cache on their route.

The cache is designed to be a place of rest for travel bugs during their travels. May their travels be as adventurous as my mother’s.

There will always be a few trade items in the cache.

The mystery about this cache is the mode of transportation my Mother and her family used. It is pictured on a photograph in the container. To have your find posted, email that information to me.

If you return to place a travel bug for a rest, you do not have to e-mail me for the second time..
