Geocache Description:

A quick 250-foot walk will solve this little mystery

Not much longer and all this open land will be gobbled up with businesses and parking lots. So get out and enjoy it while you can. As Lakewood Ranch reaches further and further south. These little spots of nature will probably either disappear or be nettled in the middle of some business parking lot. Even though this spot is man-made, it’s still a nice little place to sit back and reflect on the progress of the area.

The cache is NOT at the listed coordinates so please be sure you read the details of this before you head out trying to find the container. When you approach the listed coords you will have two ways of getting here, choose well and your 250-foot walk to the cache will bring you back near your car. At the listed coords you will find yourself near a little man-made object and on this object some text is listed. You’ll understand where the name of this cache came from when you get there. Directly under the name is a phone number and what you need to do is add the last four (4) digits of this phone number together to get a new NUMBER. Then put this NUMBER in the following to get the coords to the final :

Final - N27 22.(297 + NUMBER) W82 25.(827 + NUMBER)

The final is about 2/10th mile away so it’s a nice little walk and easy mystery cache. No bushwhacking required so if you start to head thru some heavy brush, look again.

Was out riding my bike today, picking up a few finds that I’ve been meaning to catch, checking out the area growth and decided to put something a little different here rather then just throwing down a PAG. This is the container that Cache-U-Nuts hid in front of my house during my 50th birthday party recently so it’s already been hidden once. This is a small container and does not have a pen so be sure to bring your own. And please be sure the cache is securely back where hidden when done so the Florida weather doesn’t wash it away. You shouldn’t have any muggle problems here, at least for the time being.

Enjoy the view.... while it lasts,
IMPG

Due to the quick growth of a new barbed wire fence, the final location was moved 11/1/2007. Many thanks to stashhunter43 for alerting me to this!
