Geocache Description:

This cache is placed to celebrate the finding of our 1000th cache on 22nd April 2007.

You don't have to walk quite as far as the name implies though, just about half a mile from parking at N50.58.571 W001.07.061. It is in peaceful countryside looking across to Old Winchester Hill, which is where the first cache we placed is still hidden. This is an area we really enjoy and hope you will too. It is not advisable to drive the track from the opposite direction.
