Our red girl came from Colorado, and the blue boy came from Texas, but he loves to jump up on rocks regardless of the height. So this is a tribute to the two dogs... You should not need to bushwhack the thorny bushes. It is a sharp climb but a very short one. After finding the cache, we recommend that you will continue the deer path to the stream. If you have a dog with you, watch how s/he crosses the stream. It is quite interesting to observe the problem solving skills. Each is his/her own. From there, you can pick up the trail. Cache is the ammo box and contains coffee giftcard, kids PC games, Japanese card folder, stretchy dino pack, and regular small stuff. NOTE: When I hid the cache a few years ago, there was no poison ivy nearby although there were many along the connecting path from the parking lot to the trails. Maybe the weather contributed the growth of poison ivy... There are poison ivy everywhere in the park. So watch where you and your canine friend go! I personally like this area in the winter time... when there is a nice view. During the summer, it shows a completely different sight!
